Sree Sarada Ashrama, founded in 1956 by Bani Debi and Mira Debi, two direct disciples of Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, stands as a beacon of spiritual enlightenment and philanthropic service. Rooted in the ideals of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda, the ashram strives to uplift society through selfless service and devotion.
Swami Vivekananda’s vision of empowering women as a means of advancing the nation resonates with the core mission of the ashram. He believed that the life and teachings of Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi were key to this transformation. Her messages of universal love, spiritual devotion, and compassionate service continue to inspire the activities of the ashrama today.
